We are a group of Christians who meet together for worship, prayer, and Bible teaching, and are active in spreading the message of the gospel of Christ. We have been meeting as a local church in Halifax since the 1940’s, having moved to our current location in June of 2007.

We place great value upon the Bible, and it is important to us that our beliefs and practices are based on these Scriptures. Acts 2:41-42, in the Bible, is a good example of what forms the foundation of our meetings, as it is the pattern of the early Christians authorized by the Spirit of God.

It says,

“Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers”.
